Find Who You Are
The sooner you realize who you truly are, the better your chances of success.
For Example :
I once forced myself to read books because everyone around me recommended it. But I discovered that I genuinely enjoy only a few books and most of them feel repetitive.
Many 200-page books can be summarized in 20 to 30 pages. I kept pushing myself just to fit in, not because I loved reading.
In reality, I’m not a “book person.” I only read trading books in the past because I loved trading, not because I loved reading. Recently, I stopped buying new books altogether. The only exceptions I make are biographies or meaningful books in Hindi, like poetry or philosophy.
What I truly enjoy are podcasts which I listen in one go with full interest.
This simple example shows the importance of knowing yourself and not forcing external habits.
The same applies to trading. Understand what kind of trader you are:
Are you better at investing, swing trading, or intraday?
Or maybe trading isn’t for you at all, you’ve tried for years without success.
Perhaps your true strength lies in coding, or music, or something else.
You can only master what you genuinely love. The sooner you find that, the more time you’ll have to focus, improve, and eventually achieve mastery because
Passion makes the hard work feel natural.
